Good after-noon All - a recent post discussed pro/con of Rem's M700 triggers. In that post I asked the question IF Zastavia used a Rem clone or their own triggers on the M798 and 799 models they produced for Remington several years ago?

No love - looks like my question got 'lost in the sauce'. Anyone know or wish to comment /share info on the M798/799 triggers? Good, bad or fugly? Homesteader

They're the Zastava trigger and they're good ones; easy to adjust and get light and crisp.

I have 2, one .223 and one in 7.62x39. Triggers are great. It took about 5 minutes each to adjust them.

TERRY8mm - from what's been written so far:
1) home grown Zastavia triggers AND not Rem clones,
2) equal to OR better than Rem's?
Tks

The 799 triggers tuned better than 700 triggers that I've owned. IIRC, I set both right at 3 lbs. and very crisp.
