Depends on what use you plan. The Accubond will shoot noticeably flatter at longer ranges, while the Partition tends to penetrate a little deeper, and exit more often, because it doesn't open into as wide a mushroom as the AB.

I used the 260 AB on elk here in the states and on kudu, waterbuck, oryx, eland and (gasp!) impala in Namibia. All of the African game were taken with one-shot kills and only two bullets were recovered. The eland was the farthest shot--a little over 300 meters.

One large bull elk in Colorado stood around long enough to take a second round, but either would have been fatal alone. The other two bulls that I took with it went down before I could chamber and fire another round.

The 260 AB would be my bullet of choice for big game in North America in a .375 H&H, but I confess that I no longer own one.

I don't think it matters much which one. I wanted to load and use 260 grain Nosler Accubonds in my 375 H&H for my first Safari to Africa this past July but could not find them anywhere. I used 260 grain Nosler Partitions loaded in WW Super cases with 70 grains of IMR 4064 and Fed 215 primers. I got an honest 2710 fps out of my 25" pre 64 Win 70. The load was plenty powerful, accurate, and flat shooting. I used it on a Kudu @ 270 yard trotting, an Impala @ 175 yards, and a Blesbok @ 200 yards.

If I go to Africa again I will only take my 375 with 260 grain Nosler Partitions and Solids (for the little guys, Springbok and smaller).

Wait till SPS has the seconds on sale... I'd buy the partitions and rock on...

Three black bears, spot and stalk here in Washington with the 260 Accubond in the past few years, from 320 yards down to about 15 feet, or less.

Bullet has proven to be very accurate, and to hang tough, but expand, even at very close range.

I'd like to say I got an elk with it also - but never got a shot...

Not sure a Partition is ever a bad choice.
