Maybe they have the Dodge style mirrors so that 40 somethings and less can fold them up into the trailer tow position and drive around town. Those "look at me" types, we call mirror azzholes here!

300 horse 550 ftlbs torque.
My dealers in St. Louis have already sold and delivered 7 or 8 of them (if not more) in the last week. Platinum editions are around 53k.
Very solid truck and I am looking forward to ordering one in March for my new demo truck.
They told us back in June/July around 22 mpg highway, but I haven't seen any real world numbers yet.
Towing capacity around 13,000 lbs. Not bad for a 1/2 ton plus. Our fiver weighs 12500 dry. I can't wait to put it through its paces. I would go to rvtowcheck.com- they have a weight calculator that is a real eye opener. Although manufacturers may show higher capacity for weight with fifth wheels vs. conventional, the GVWR may be an extremely limiting factor as to how heavy a fifth wheel should be. Pin weight percentage is critical in this calculation, and in many cases, the tow weight rating will be higher for a conventional trailer, maybe much higher, than for a fifth wheel configuration.

Trailer tongue weight (and especially pin weight on 5'ers) will max out a 1/2 ton FAR sooner than any theoretical 'tow weight' the manufacturer lists.
The ecodiesel everyone is seems to love is a prime example. A CC Laramie longhorn 4x4 has a payload capacity of only 1,007 pounds, and that assumes 150 pound driver weight and nothing else in the truck. Heck, 4 250 pound guys going to the range with guns and ammo would MAX that truck out. What a turd! I don't see how you can even pull a trailer with it, unless you are a skinny dude with no friends. Ram claims that truck will tow over 7,000 pounds. I guess it will with a lightweight chick driving and 10% on the tongue. It won't tow anything loaded for a family camping trip. Remember, GVWR, GAWR, and GCWR ALL need to be within spec to be ok per the manufacturer.

Although it comes with the gooseneck hitch, one may be able to tow a double horse gooseneck trailer without exceeding the GVWR and GAWR, with one or two horses, or a flatbed trailer with the load shifted to reduced the pin load. I don’t know how they come up with the unrealistic 12,300 towing capacity when the max possible payload is only 2,091, and this particular style is not recommended for towing gooseneck trailers, etc. The Titan XD is only SAE J2807 compliant with the Class 4 Hitch. I’m very concerned for RVers who buy into this hype without verifying the realistic vehicle towing capacity with the RV Tow Check App. Check out this page showing half-ton tow rating reviews.
