Crappy cell phone picture, for which I apologize.
The picture was taken in Kenia by a tourist. The buffalo appearently wandered to close to the cow elefants young and ignored her vocal warning.
She then gored and lifted him up with her one tusk. It entering just behing the left frontleg and exiting just in front of the right.
The article informed readers, "that the buffalo quickly died from its wound."
What a surprise.

Indeed! That is quite photo, regardless of quality! Buffalo bulls can get somewhat uppity at times, I've heard. The video of the buff getting gored by the rhino he picked a fight with comes to mind. But this pic takes it to a whole 'nother level!!! Thanks for posting it, Carl!! (And never mind Dan's attempt at education... he ain't much of one for book-learnin' his ownself...)

America needs to understand that our troops are not 'disposable'. Each represents a family; Fathers, Mothers, Sons, Daughters, Cousins, Uncles, Aunts... Our Citizens are our most valuable treasure; we waste far too many.

I would say that horn definitely over-penetrated.
I probably hit more elk with a pickup than you have with a rifle. I have yet to see anyone claim Leupold has never had to fix an optic. I know I have sent a few back. 2 MK 6s, a VX-6, and 3 VX-111s.
