Tom,

Sorry to hear about your Uncle. I understand about the Iron Rangers. At my uncles funeral a few years ago we walked into the basement of city hall for lunch and there is a table set up with several bottle of booze and shot glasses. Everyone who walked in was given a shot. I'll tip a glass to Uncle Bill tonight.

I know Jeff, I'm just giving your crap. grin

I wouldn't buy that celebration beer yet... I drove for almost 9 hours yesterday and saw one live deer and two dead ones. Slim pickens!

I'm obviously hunting the wrong area. There's a house on the way to work that has a big bird feeder out. With the weather closing in this morning, I figured their bird feeder would be busy. Man was it ever. I stopped for a minute and counted 23 deer, 16 turkeys and lord only knows how many pheasants under the feeder. The turkeys rule the roost-the deer were milling around trying to get at the feed and the turkeys kept running them off. One big old doe had finally had enough of that and ran in and scattered the turkeys. It was pretty comical. Those critters knew that snow was coming, and they were really putting on the feed bag!

Sorry to hear Tom. I'll tip a glass for him tonight.

I just found out my Uncle/Godfather has bone cancer and my cousin who is 4 years older than me has colon/rectal cancer.

You can't tell me the chemicals being applied to our food isn't at least partially responsible for this chit.

'Took the wife out yesterday to shoot the new .380. She did fine, and I wouldn't want to stand in front of her. She can definitely make that little Taurus do what it was designed for.

I wasn't able to pick it up this weekend, hopefully in the next couple weeks it will pan out.

Too heavy?

Eat more bananas, peanut butter, maybe a protein shake.

Train, train, train!

Try again next week, you'll get it, I know you can do it bro.

I recommend push ups and starting with some light weight training. Try some 16 oz weights to start with and within a few months, I think you will be up to that 7 1/2 pound mark pretty easily. We are all pulling for you Ryan! You can do it!

I have a 12 pounder in the safe... Don't know why, I guess that's probably about where I peaked out, back in my prime.

I could still probably get it out of the safe to clean it, but to hunt with it? Yeah right.....
