Many times I give sheds to knife makers or rendezvous people. Something different this time. I found a set of sheds near a fence line 3 or 4 years ago and hung them up in the garage. Was bored yesterday and decided to do something with them. Went to Cabela's and came home with a Mountain Mike's Cameo skull kit. I didn't shoot the deer so it doesn't merit a place among other mounts, so into the basement it went. Maybe it will end up in the cabin. The wife said "good, it looks weird."

Very nice sheds. I'm not a fan of the camo skull look but to each their own.

That's a good way to display a nice pair of sheds and a couple of minutes with a rattle can could remedy the camo look.

I've taken sheds and grind the ends off so when you flip them over they lay flat, and use them for dresser draw pull handles. Screw them on from inside, being careful not to blow out the side of the antler. They look cool and work excellent. They've work on cabinets in the shop or any heavy door or drawer.

Wayne, not a bad idea - looks good. My wife isn't fond of mounts on the main level but she sure likes these as accent pieces.

When I get a pile I sell them and put the money towards a new piece of hunting gear I want. for now they reside on the fireplace for decoration. my kids have a few they like in their rooms to play with. sorry for the bad pic, it's from my phone.

I give the little ones to a woman at church . She has a little gift shop in Cedarburg WIs. A ver upscale place for shopping. She gets $24 a piece for the little ones. A shed with 3 or 4 points gets $32 each. Something like what you got Roundoak would fetch $300 bucks.

That's interesting! I'm NO decorator even tho I love the 270 W. I could see using diff colored painted antlers for "accent" even in MAN caves. That might even sell well. Thnx Jerry

I usually leave them in the woods, unless they're big or something fairly rare like a moose shed or something I can get $80 or so bucks for.
Never been interested in them if I didn't shoot them.

They sell chunks of antler for dog chews now. Safer than bones, I'd think.

Hunting for and selling sheds won't make you rich, but I love the exercise of getting out and walking the woods. And the extra money don't hurt.

I get about as excited finding a nice shed as I do on the actual hunt. Where do you guys sell your sheds? I've got a box full of them and its about time to get out and hunt for them.
