Any man with a pulse, a sense of history, and good taste would like that one!

America needs to understand that our troops are not 'disposable'. Each represents a family; Fathers, Mothers, Sons, Daughters, Cousins, Uncles, Aunts... Our Citizens are our most valuable treasure; we waste far too many.

To each his own I say! He doesn't have any idea about what's going to happen but there's a huge whitetail in Kansas that will fall to this one....come September!!

Sweetness!
1 in 70" with 1 1/8" barrel. That'll smoker will take a 150 gr charge and toss a 54 cal cannon ball like it was a BB. Bang flop in Kansas coming up.

I'm glad to see someone running a 54 cal with a carbine length barrel...

Very nice! I like the .54 Hawkens. Dropped a pig in TN with this one...

I run 90 grain 2F with patched ball in my 54 for hunting. Targets generally get 60 grains for economy and recoil. I run a damp patch between rounds and I can fire indefinitely without the barrel getting tight.

I'm glad to see someone running a 54 cal with a carbine length barrel... I wouldn't classify 34" barrel length as carbine measurement but I guess you do! What are yours....60"??

I'm glad to see someone running a 54 cal with a carbine length barrel... My response was in 'jest' also! I know there are some out there with 36-38" but I figured I didn't want to have to use a set of wheels to tote the thing around! I believe 34" will suffice for what I want to use it for aka sitting at the bench in my back yard or in a deer blind in Kansas! I'm looking forward to it! No cases to clean, no cases to size or prime! I've been shooting Sharps now for going on 20 years and I'm feeling 'burnt out'....if you know what I mean!!
