Whsrs your budget? The SilencerCo Omega would be my first suggestion for a versatile can.

I just ordered a Silencerco Omega for .223 up to .308, based on research of can size, weight, noise reduction, company reputation/customer service/warranty, etc. Now just gotta try to forget about it for ~6 months or I might go crazy waiting for it!

I have the Silencerco Harvester, and have been completely satisfied with on everything from .223 to .308.
That being said, had the Omega been an option when I ordered, thats probably the direction I would have went.

Most I have seen are around $1000 . I am probably looking for something in titanium since I don't want a boat anchor hanging off the end. I have used Thunderbeast before and like their stuff but am open to suggestions. It is pretty my a lifetime purchase.

The Harvester is an aluminum can, and weighs about 11oz. I have yet to notice the weight, and have used it on several different rifles. The price is very affordable, and for a hunting can, I think it would be hard to beat.

Pacecars,
I have two SAS Reapers; direct thread, 7 inch, titanium cans, they weigh 13 or 13 1/2 oz each. I'm happy with mine but have not shot them alongside any one else's cans… but they get consistently good reviews by folks that have. They are rated for the 30 Caliber magnums.
SAS also makes 8" & 9" cans. I got the shorter can because I was trying to keep the length down (hunting guns)… if You are shooting supersonic and overall length is not a concern definitely go with the longer can for best suppression.
SAS just came out with new cans... supposedly with better baffles/design.
Mile high is clearancing their SAS cans (the older design), their inventory will say none in stock but call and they may have a few left. I just checked on a SAS Titanium 5.56 can and it was $600, pretty good deal.
Never heard a bad word about thunder beast cans either.
Only regret regarding suppressors is that I did not get one 30 years ago!
And you do know that you will still hear the supersonic crack if shooting supersonic rounds right?
Enjoy,
Jerry

Thank . Yes definitely know about the supersonic crack. Plan to use subsonics on some deer and pigs since Florida finally became enlightened on using suppressors while hunting.

Check out the new SilencerCo Hybrid for all around versatile can. It can mount on handgun or rifle; .223 up to .458.

Make sure to enlighten yourself on what bullets to use subsonic on those deer and pigs. Most mainstream 30 cal bullets won't cut it.

I run a titanium "sandstorm" by Gemtech. It is quiet and does what it is supposed to.
