I've found the dots to be spot-on with the loads they're calibrated for, and the dots can be made to work with any bullet.

Zero at 200 yards, first dot on at 300 yards, second dot at 400 yards, top of post at 500 yards.

Order the CDS dial set up the same. You're in like flint, except the CDS will extend you range out to about 650 yards.
