I don't know much about model 52s, but I've seen a bunch of you guys seem to like them. I have no idea if this is a good price or not, just posting in case anybody is interested. Here is the link to MD shooters classifieds if you would like to check it out. http://www.mdshooters.com/vbclassified.php?do=ad&id=27491This is not my gun, or my add, just posting the link.

Nice gun. About 5 miles from me.

Nice gun! That was and is the Cadillac of its day, Most were better than the shooter, you would be suprized what it will do with todays target ammo! A classic , the seller knows what the rig is worth has it priced as such! I shoot the 'C' Target and sporter and an 'E' , Fantastic old school works of art! very best WinPoor

I inherited by father's 52 C target. He bought it new, shot small bore with it and like everything, he kept it immaculate. A couple of years ago I told the fellows at the shooting club about it and finally took it out for them to see. I would say its an honest 99% and 100% original including sights. If you have never felt what a 52C target trigger is like, you really need to try find one. Winchester did a LOT of research in designing it, calling it the Micro-motion trigger and that it is. One of the fellows at the club, a very good shooter who also does top of the line barrel jobs on target rifles only, told me that a few years ago, he put together a small-bore target rifle using the best components money could buy. He spent an entire summer playing with it and could NOT get it to shoot as good as his 52 target. The Winchester 52 is definitely an all-time classic when it comes to rim-fire rifles, as good as American rifles have ever been, both from a design and workmanship standpoint.
