I went into LGS yesterday to purchase a new belt. While there I was fondling a Galco high ride holster with adjustable tension and a top safety strap. It looks like it was the Phoenix model.
They only had a LH model in the store, So it did not come home with me.
Question is, (and I suspect I know the answer, but wish to hear from someone who really knows) The holster is labeled for 4 inch K-frame and Taurus Tracker. Would it properly retain a Ruger 4.2 inch SP 101?

I think it will be a little large. Try to get the right holster, even if you have to order a custom. Go see Zack Davis in Kuna. He does a nice holster.

Thank you for the advice.
After putting the calipers to the two pistols, I expected that to be the case.
I am going to get one of the Galcos for the 41 Mountain Gun I got from Bob, and another for the Ti Tracker purchased from you. I was hoping to press the second into temporary service for the SP 101 in 327.
I had not previously heard of Davis Leather. He has some fine looking products on his website. I will give him a call.
