Helping a buddy assemble parts for his first AR build. He is pushing up against his budget but still needs a trigger. Considering an RRA two stage match; any other options?

If you know of a good sale, a link would be appreciated.

Thanks

Thanks, we're considering that, hoping for other suggestions as well.

Did you order it from RRA or somewhere else?

Giesslee had their G2S on black Friday sale for $110. Don't know when they will repeat that sale price.

I bought 2 RRA NM at xmas time for $62 each.

I installed a Del-Ton 2 stage in my buddy's 6.8. Very nice trigger. Think it was $105. Very crisp. Seems they leave Midway as soon as they come in.

Trident 3lb curved shoe model at Primary for $69. I bought two, put one in my 6.8 and one in my 18" Wylde. No complaints, much better than a tuned milspec trigger and they have full power hammer springs. About 1/2 the creep of milspec, but it's buttery smooth creep. I'm having no issues shooting good groups with those triggers.

My next suggestion is the enhanced PSA trigger or the ALG. Both are nice and can be even nicer with JP springs.

Hiperfire also has 3 triggers that are less than $100.

Another option is the Rise Fallout for $95. It's a cassette type drop in trigger similar to the CMC or Timney. The reviews I've seen are good.

There are plenty of options in the sub $100 category these days.

Thanks all. He got an ALG and I think I'll drop in JP trigger and disconnector springs.

I've recently bought a PSA EPT trigger and also a BCM PNT enhanced trigger. I've yet to fire either, so I can comment only on the trigger pull. I'm comparing these to the mil-spec trigger in my DPMS.

The PSA that I have is a little smoother than the BCM that I have. I'm sure that will vary slightly with each trigger group shipped based on how much coffee the polishing expert had that morning. But both are a MAJOR improvement over the standard mil-spec trigger. It's the difference between a rough-azz chirt road and a nice, freshly paved road. The creep is so smooth on the PSA that it's hardly noticable, and the brake on both are nice and crisp.

PSA can be had for $30, BCM for $60. I'm ordering another PSA for my DPMS.
