You mean SCCY? Basically a Kel-Tex P11.

Like 4ager said, they are basically a slightly dolled up KelTec P11. The ergonomics are close, but different enough that a person might prefer one over the other.

They sell for about 250.00 around here. I'm told that they have a theft warranty. If that is the case, it might be a value for a truck gun.

I haven't heard anything negative about them as far as reliability, and I haven't shot one personally to get an idea of accuracy.

My local shop stocks them and the owner told me they are a big seller. He said of all the ones he's sold only one had come back for warranty issues and that guy had been in twice a week for ammo since he purchased the pistol. He said the pistol had a guide rod issue which was fixed by pulling one off a shelf model. His opinion is they are a decent pistol for people who don't shoot a lot.

I brought this thread back to life because I bought one of these last weekend. I'm not too far behind the times. It is the CPX-2 which does not have a safety. I had looked at them before and almost bought one and this time and they had them on sale for $219.95 so what would you expect a weak man to do? It does shoot nice and feels great in the hand. I don't see how you could go wrong with one of these. The trigger is very long which doesn't bother me. It is different from the other plastic guns in that it is just like a double action revolver. It doesn't have a striker but a visible, shrouded hammer. Takes some getting used to if you are used to the striker guns but well worth the money in my opinion. You can't buy any kind of pistol that shoots like this for this amount of money.

Next purchases:
Walther PPS
Kahr .380

Bought one did not feed well till I changed the mag and polished feed ramp, with all HP ammo, after work 100 % reliable so far, wife likes it and easy to manipulate slide.

She picked it out herself.

Not as accurate as my Glock or Ruger LC9. But for the money its quite a buy. A little bit of a handfull with 147 gr loads.

I am going to pick up my CPX-1 today. Needed a truck gun and I did not want to spend a fortune. I looked at a CPX-2 at the dealer when I ordered mine and it looks like it is fairly well made. SS slide, long pull trigger, (Which is OK by me). You can order almost any color combination that you like. It is light and medium size, so it should work out well. Comes with two mags and an extended magazine plate installed. There is also two regular magazine plates in case you don't want the extended ones.

I just got it. I'm surprised at the quality for the money. If it shoots as well as it looks, I'm a Happy camper. Stainless Steel Slide, Aluminum frame. Two Mags with extended mag grips, Lifetime warranty no questions asked.
How much more can you ask for under $300?
