Guys, I know almost nothing about trapping. But my brother-in-law has been at it a few years now and enjoys the heck out of it. I'm wondering about something that I may be able to pick up for him as a Christmas gift. He's "old school" in how he does things. Are there any essential tools or items that I could pick up for him? You know? Something a trapper can't have "enough" of?

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Get him a gift certificate to MN Trapline Products. They are the makers of the MB line of traps. He will love it!

I am always looking for factory wood stocks!

This. Trappers are notoriously picky about the tools they use. My "must haves" will be different than someone else.

Yup, and he's a fussy one anyhow. Got the GC on the way (and a paper catalog since he won't get on line or use a computer). shocked
