Gentlemen,
Searching for RWS .270 Winchester brass and found German Made Geco .270 Winchester in two loadings that was actually quite affordable. There was a mention of RUAG which I know is first rate as I shot quite a bit of it in AI AXMC .338 LMs. It was well over $100 plus per 20... Any input on this ammunition and the quality of the brass?

Good source for RWS .270 Brass?

Regards, Matt.

According to this RWS, RUAG and GECO are owned by same corp.
Not sure if quality is the same but, RWS and RUAG make some of the finest brass, would be worth checking out if inexpensive!!!!!

New England Custom Gun Service sells RWS Ammo, but not sure about brass. Might be easier to buy some Norma Brass, excellent product.

fwiw,
I sell Schmidt Bender through NECG so I'll call on Monday. May have been right under foot all along... I know RWS/RUAG are first rate... I'm going to buy 100 piece of RWS .270 Brass for this new Penrod/Tucker Rifle to give it the best shot at performing along with a set of Redding Comp Dies...

Regards, Matt.

RUAG owns the GECO brand, as well as RWS (and Rottweil and Norma). GECO is what you might call the economy line to RWS. From what I was told by their former agent here, it is exactly the same brass, just without the final polishing given to the RWS product. It is also loaded with more conventional bullets.

FWIW I have had excellent results from some GECO brass in 9.3x74R.
