These bullets are less expensive than A-max's and Bergers. Do they perform well, meaning, do you get the occasional unexplained flyer.
Depending on the responses here I may try them in a 7.7 twist 6mm Dasher, let me know what y'all think.

They were solid as a nut when I was shooting them out of a 243 AI at about 3100fps, but I only shot about 400 of them so somebody else probably could chime in with more experience...

I can't but I'm shooting them at 3000 in 6creed. They shoot just as good as any other bullets for me.

Lights out from my .243 Win @ just over 2800fps. I've been through around 500 of them.

They're very consistent from my .243AI. They perform slightly better than the AM in my rifle.

I prefer them over the A Max, for price, for accuracy...

They will also stabilize in a one in 10 twist, factory 243 barrel on my Model 70 SA.. where as the A Max won't...

I've heard you say this a dozen times or more, and all I can figure is your gun is supposed to be 1-10" but is actually faster. I've tried the 105 HPBT in 3 different 1-10" twist rifles and no dice. Have you actually checked the twist on that gun? Be curious as to what is actually happening. I had a New Haven M70 SA .243 with a 1-11" twist for whatever reason.

Screw you! I'm voting for Trump again!

Anyone use these for any type of hunting? If so, any thoughts on performance?

Well, it certainly doesn't work here at sea level in our humid valley. Come to think of it, the last .243 Montana I bought, the seller said it was shooting them great at 5,000 feet. I shot a bunch trying to make it work. Oh well.

What elevation are you guys at that are getting them to shoot?

They ran great in a Tikka .243 at 4500', shot sub-MOA to 800.... so we loaded up 100 of them. When my bro got back to CA with the rifle and rounds..... it wouldn't keep 3 shots on paper at 100.

I've had a 1-9" .223 hammer with the 75 Amax at 600 yards one day and the next they are 8 feet in any direction. Only downside to living in California....

That's the question, since a 10" twist is on the ragged edge of stabilizing the 105AM. I shoot them from 3000-5500', and they've been stable in 9.125" and 10" twists.

Yes they work fine on deer. If you need to know about bigger animals you'll have to ask someone else. If you don't get the answer you're looking for someone will ask this same question next week so maybe you'll get it then.

around here is between 1200 to 4000 feet on average....

its a 1983 produced 243 SA Winchester...got it new in 83...

you just need high enough elevation evidently...

I've shot mine in California, but was in Siskiyou County, in a mountainous area...

Have run about 800 of them through a new .243 Win with no complaints. I would not hesitate to shoot them.

If the weather would ever cooperate I'll get a chance to do load development with the 105 bthp. Between H4350 and RL17 I hope to find a good combo of speed and accuracy.

Both of those ran well in mine. Ended up settling with the RL17 and getting about 2900 fps out of a 20" bbl.
