Maybe sensitive, but a few years back a tiny music teacher was eaten alive by coyotes in Nova Scotia. Could any of you folks provide me with a link?? I have started a fight elsewhere and it would be superb as an illustration of the nature of predators. Thanks.

If I recall correctly there was some suspicion of the animals involved in the attack being coyote / eastern wolf hybrids;coy-wolves. I am not sure if that was ever proven. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taylor_Mitchell more details

Pretty much all eastern Canadian coyotes have some wolf DNA, so what?This was a pretty unusual incident, but a good reminder that predators will hunt whatever is available when they are hungry enough, and we are just another kind of critter.

I do remember seeing some trapper forums listed, however, most just seemed to run the link I posted.
Lots of similar incidents in Australia, too. Obviously with Dingos being the predator involved.
As stated above, when you're hungry, you gotta eat !

ET…since the Cape Breton attack there has been an increased awareness regarding the Eastern Wolf (Coyote). Many documentaries have focused on or at least referenced the event… it being the first documented Coyote killed human. Stricks,that was the "filler" I needed. I provoked a fight with some bambi/bunny/wolf/any critter huggers and wanted to give them shock treatment (truth).
