i have one of the jm guide guns, and i did put on it a xo sight sistem and a rail.
But today i put on a wild west loop lever to replace the original, one of the wild west "happy" triggers, and the aluminum mag guide.
This rifle was twisting my hand with the original lever, the loopy made a huge difference. The trigger was basically a drop in but it took up the slack from the original, much better feel, smoother, and lighter.
Would recommend those mods to anyone with that type of rifle.

Yep, I have a Remmy 1895 SBL (late 2014 version). Put their aluminum follower, trigger, and bearproof ejector on it. Makes a huge difference. Especially the trigger.

Are these parts all drop in on a normal JM stamp 1895G? How does the finish match up to the bluing on the gun?

they were all drop in. i don't think the level is quite the same color but close.
mine is a jm stamped gun, but i have messed with it.
limbsaver or decelerator recoil pad, have to look, xo williams peep and front sight, and a pic rail added.
I was continuously complaining about the torque racking my knuckles if i fired the gun with a hand in the lever. That loopy has corrected that. The trigger is night and day better.
it wasn't hard to change out. But it did take me about an hour to get it reassembled. There are two screws holding the base plate on, one on the bottom, one on the side. The screws look alike, but one is longer. I had them reversed and the lever didn't want to operate. put them back properly and works just fine.
that bearproof ejector is on its way, along with one of their lifts
