I am looking for anyone who has done some loading in the 32:20 cal. for older Colts & Smiths.
I would prefer to use non jacketed loads, I do not cast my own bullets though, so I will be having to track down bullets.
90 to 100 gr. bullets round nose are my choice.

Also loading for a 32 S&W J frame.
Any help would be great.
I was hoping for a flat point, target load for the J frame, I use it for shooting snakes when I am Pheasant hunting in Eastern MT.
Thanks allot
Jack

I use Lil Gun and a 115 and 120 gr. bullets with Hodgdon PISTOL DATA.

For even milder loads, Blackhorn data is another good powder.

Ooops. Noticed you threw in the 32 S&W Long in there as well.

If wanting to use the same bullet (90) grs., I would drop 2.0 grs of 231 in both cases. Bear in mind the 32-20 will take more, but that load would function in both.

Sounds like a good load.
I`m going to Spokane next week and will look at the White Elephant & Black Sheep for bullets.
I have never used Blackhorn powder.
Who Makes it?
