Been trying to get my wife to paint more wildlife and she is finally coming around a bit. Here is one she finished up last week and it's already sold and hanging in its new home up in Jackson, WY:

Yea, but all those fancy symbols make you look like a genius.

I feel your pain, it's a common problem around here too.

That is fabulous! Next stop the National Museum of Wildlife Art, same town as this one resides..

I think the water is impressing me the most. So rarely is that done with such finesse. That looks like a real stream, flowing as it should, in the correct setting. Overall impressive and evocative.

I see a lot of artwork passing thru my frame shop. That is outstanding! I assume she had the piece photographed before selling it.

mudhen;
Good evening to you sir and thanks so much for posting the picture.

My goodness your wife has skill, talent or whatever positive descriptive word one wants to choose. cool

I really, really like the vivid colors and detail.

Thanks again and all the best to you folks this spring.

Dwayne

She photographs all of her work before it leaves the studio. Actually, I think that this is a photo that I took when it was finished, but not yet varnished and framed. I wanted to share it with an old hunting partner. BTW, she builds all of her frames herself.

Ok very nice painting but am I the only one that sees the face of A Af. Loin in the right hand corner. I could never do something that nice.

I too was drawn to the water. It's a bright spot underlying the rest of the overcast Autumn scene. It's as if everything else is ranks more trivially after the stream.
