Tried out my new CZ 452 and it will be a keeper until I die! I better get some spare mags...

Where do you guys buy spare magazines?
Metal or plastic?
Round count?
Any aftermarkets worth looking at?

Thanks in advance.

CZ's web site for part numbers, then Google and Slickguns for the best price. But check Whittaker's.

Some DIP stuff is really nice. Some is overpriced crap that requires a lot of work to make into what it should be.

I like the 5's and 10's best.

The 25's hit the door too much.

I saw the 25's... didnt know if they would feed well like early plastic lip 10/22's versus the newer metal lip bx25's

Anyone notice performance difference between metal and poly magazines?

I prefer the metal ones just because they seem to go better with the gun. Plastic seems out of place with all that nice, blued steel. Plastic ones work okay and are lighter, so you might want some of each. Since mags hanging out of the bottom are one of my pet peeves, I only used 5-rounders, which only hang out a bit.

CZ 452 Mags, been using them since 2002, have 8 CZ rimfires, never a problem with plastic or metal magazines and I have a few. BTW DIP Products makes a fine adjustable sear for your 452, but I would learn/adjust your stock trigger before making any changes as they usually are pretty nice out of the box, regards, buntingmiester

I was going to buy the metal ones initially because I didn't have faith in the plastic.

I now have plenty of faith in the plastic. They've seen thousands of rounds with zero issues.

DIP are great people. I used their 25MOA mount on my 452. But, I got my CZ 452 magazines cheaper here.
