I agree with the posters that mentioned the Jitterbug for night fishing. They'll catch more than bass. I got invited to fish a good sized farm pond. The guy who owned the property said if you want to stay and night fish bring some black Jitterbugs and fish the shallow end.

We had a good afternoon with the bass on several different lures. When it got dark we caught five or six decent sized catfish on the Jitterbugs.
