Ingwe, been shooting with my .222 this past week with 50 gr. Vmax.
More than once I have noticed gophers hit but the bullet didn't expand.. Saw more than several go bouncing across the field, sometimes it was a miss,but often after hit the little rodent.. Any of this with the SX.? In the .223i have 40 gr Vmax. No problems there, super explosive. Hope you have a great shoot!

Any of this with the SX.? I haven't experienced it in the past using SXs but I'll do more research tomorrow  After that I have 1K 52gr. Amax ( which the gun loves and works well) to burn up, then 1K of Speer TNTs...also a known entity. I have a ton of 50 SXs loaded up for my deuce, so I'll check them out when I take it out.
