I was looking at the Beretta A350 offered at $999 from Cabelas. I see it as retty much an A400 without the Kickoff, B lock system, Aqua coating, and chokes (which I didn't want).

The biggest drawback to me it that I like the Optifade camo of the A400 and the A 350 only comes in Max 5.

Anybody have any opinion on the A350?

The A300 Outlander is about the same gun for a lower price. It is getting very good reviews by everyone that I know. I haven't heard anything bad to say about it yet.

I'm not sure the A350 is even being made anymore. I think it has been discontinued.

I duck hunt with a guy who shoots an A300 and he loves it. I hunt with it's Grandpa, the 390, and I love it too. Hard to go wrong with a Beretta shotgun.

I have an Xtrema 2, 3.5 and an outlander, overall I can kill just as much with the 300 as the Xtrema unless it's at a distance.

The A350 is essentially the old extrema1, they are a great gun at an excellent pricepoint.

And if you want the optifade, send it to rob roberts and he can re dipnit in optifade. Beretta, Benelli and Franchi guns only though, because the optifade pattern is under contract agreement with those companies and no Gore

The Aqua coating is no joke. I've had my Xterma II completed submerged in saltwater and suffered no ill effects.

I second this..

My extrema spent 45 minutes in 10 foot of the Atlantic Ocean

The only parts that showed any rust was the after market sling swivel

Exactly, how could they not coat the swivels?

The swivels came attached to the sling...the studs on the gun I believe are treated

I actually went down to the store and purchased the a350. It came out in 2015. It does not have the magazine cut off and is much lighter than my 390 and it shoots 3.5 inch.

Should be an awesome hunting gun.

Could you weigh it on a scale and give us the actual number?
How about posting some pictures?

I'll weigh it and put up pictures on Monday when I pick up the gun. Meanwhile, I just received some Briley chokes (Optima HP). The A350 only comes with one IM choke. I bought 3 more, SK, IMP, and M at $50 each. That's something else to consider if the A400 comes with more.

Also, I didn't like the A400 because of the kickoff. It's different and uncomfortable for me, plus the recoil on my 390 is not bad at all. I asked for the A400 Extreme without the kickoff, but they don't make it. (The Unico extreme comes in camo: optifade, max4,max5, or systetic). You can buy an Xplor without the kickoff but it does not come in camo. Or you can buy the Xplor with the rear kickoff but without camo.

I'll post some more when I get the gun in a few days.

Just picked up the A350 today. It weighs 7 pounds 2 ounces compared to my A390 at 7 pounds 6 ounces. It came with one choke and two plugs. I took some pictures.
