Struck out in AZ so I'd love for my children or myself to get a tag to chase elk in the Gila.

The waiting is driving me nuts! Lined up a bunch of dead chicken bones for good mojo and my dogs keep moving them on me.
Elk, deer, antelope and sheep. Lately I think I have a better chance on desert bighorn than I do antelope! Good luck all!

There's 2 dates they carve on your tombstone. Everyone knows what they mean. What's more important is time that is known as the little dash inbetween.

0/5 for me, and 1/5 for my son.
He drew DER-1-316. Somehow I put him in for a 4th choice. Oops.
Anybody know Unit 41?

I struck out but my 13 yr old son did great. Early October 16c Gila bull tag and November 2b deer tag. Looking for guide recommendation if anyone has any.

Paul, You should get ahold of EHG, I know for a fact that he knows the area and will probably be free around that time. He is a great guy and guide. I've been lucky enough to have him guide me. Top notch..... If you need his number let me know, he frequents this site.

My wife, daughter and cousin drew the same tag. Would rather one of them get a deer. I'm going to hunt in Africa about three weeks later.

Since I didn't draw, my credit card was refunded the $65 license fee, but does anyone know when I get the other $750(ish) draw fee back? Does it take longer to process than the license fee?

I finally got all my refunds, but it did take until 5/2. I was 1 for 6. Nothing for Elk, but drew second November rifle hunt for deer in 21.
