I recently spun up a 8.5tw brux to pitch some heavies. I bought a boatload of the 80's thinking about my ar but they're too long.....so I did this rifle as plan b. I hear rl15 sucks, 80's need 8 or tighter and 600 is about the end of the accuracy.

Today I set up a gong 10x14 @ 650 and pounded a 2.5" group in it with fire form loads. I chucked up on a innocent flower @ 1010yds and promptly up rooted it. I'm flat impressed with the itty bitty case that can.

Fast twist .223ai's are a ton of fun and do way more than they should.

Screw you! I'm voting for Trump again!

I bought a brux tapered to a #2bart and long changed it as I was not sure how much love I'd have for the little bugger. I didn't put a tape to it, lopped 5/8" off the front and cut a deep crown, whacked 3/4" off the shank and plugged it into a trued up 700 I had in my parts box with a rem lug I bored and surface ground. I dropped the whole mess into a lvsf stock and parked the meopro on it.

I ran out back and busted a 25 shot group off the hood in a 20 mph wind that went under an inch, which was great considering the rig was shaking like a freezing dog.

I ran home and loaded up more fresh cases and my fire formed cases and went out to play when it calmed down. With an 8mph wind I printed the first group on the gong with the fresh cases and my spotter was impressed.

The thing REALLY shot 26.8 grs of rl15 well. I didn't shoot that @ 100 but @ 650 it was minute of snus can every time.
