If all the Hollywood types that have said they would move to Canada if Donald T was elected Pres. carry through with their threat you will have and invasion. You may want to head them off at the border. Not sure if they are the type you will want a lot of. Your have been warned.

Just a lot of idle talk. For them, Canada is a nice place to visit for a week or two for fishing, but they would soon get tired paying our prices for booze, cigarettes and gasoline, never mind the taxes and our liberal government. wink

They'd all do pretty well in Montreal...

Where they could frolic amongst their own kind....

We DO NOT WANT them here as we received the majority of Yankee "draftdodgers", among the most useless bunch of jerkoffs to ever come to BC/Canada.

Actually, you should invite them all to your area.

The libs seem to love talking about your healthcare and gun laws.

They are all yours.

Canada has never needed a draft. When war is declared, there has always been an abundance of volunteers. Lots of older guys in our area that fought in WWII. And before they all died off, from WWI as well. Had a scar of uncles that enlisted and fought in Europe.

If by draft you mean Conscription--Canada instituded it in 1917 during the 1st World War and it created quite a controversy in Quebeck and again in the last year and half of the 2nd World War.

I stand corrected. I can say that I don't know of any of the local boys that went "over there" that didn't volunteer. My dad tried to enlist but he was only 15 near the end of the war. He was big enough and tough enough, just not old enough.

I apologize for the misinformation. Guess they started with volunteers.

You know Brother Kieth I never met a Canadian who had been drafted and I used to be pretty active in the Legion in Nipigon.
