He said it today as well. He said that he had as far as he knew never addressed Boehner other than to say "Hello Mr. Speaker" and had not to his knowledge ever said more than 50 words to the guy.
Yet, he was his lawyer.
And, of course, you'll note that the Gawker article is from today.

And, of course, you'll note that the Gawker article is from today. When he was Boehner's lawyer, did Cruz work with Boehner directly, or did he work with Boehner's staff? How many hours did they work together, if any? Was involved with a prosecution a couple of years ago. To the best of my knowledge, the top manager in our group never once met with the attorney prosecuting it, but I spent hours with him.

VERY desperate. Did you see Trump announce his VP yesterday? I mean he's already mathematically eliminated. (What was it he said about Kasich staying in?) It was very awkward, from the hand shake, her having to raise his limp arm, to the singing...very cringe worthy!

I like a lot of what Ted says he stand for, I even like him marginally better than Trump to beat Hillary but what I can't like and makes me really nervous about his his blatant disregard for the will of the voting public.
Voters have made it rather clear whom they want as the R on the ballot but he refuses to accept that. Stating he's specifically there to stop Trump.
That's the will of the people. If he won't listen to us now, what makes me believe he'd listen to us as the nominee or president?
He's basically ignoring all those who've made their choice that isn't him in a power grab.
