Paul, my MIL lost one breast in 1999, and then other in 2008. She's a "C" survivor.
Although the surgery is radical. The treatments, the physical pain, and the mental anguish are terrible at the time.... SHE CAN OVERCOME.

if a guy is lucky enough to have a woman worth loving, it's the most damned helpless feeling in the world to know that you can't save her, all you can do is support her while others try and save her.

and yes these salty dogs were a source of comfort and inspiration to us when we walked that tough road.
the campfire may be azzholes, but they're our azzholes and some of the best damned folks on the planet.

My mother had a double mastectomy at the age of 44. She celebrated her 93rd birthday last month.
