Congrats on the tag. Thats, IMHO, the best unit in the state for BIG BULLS. Low tag quotas generally make this a great place for the elk to grow old.

What outfitter are you hunting with?

Put in for elk (MB) in unit 5c. No luck. Did get my landowner for deer.

My g8-g8 uncle was Barney Riggs. Google and read about him. He roamed around the southwest, mainly west Tx and Az and NM territory. History credits him with from 9 - 12 men he killed, not counting Mexicans and Indians. Family lore has it at 18.

Just for antelope. Not elk. Think you have to print those off the website.
