Consider this a warning, not a review.
This movie will alter your psyche. Seriously. I think I have virtual PTSD since watching it.
It starts off slow, but very good. Great acting and you are seriously into the characters and plot in short order.
Then it goes insane. Like somebody melded a western with the Hills Have Eyes and Predator.

^^^^ This ^^^^ Terrible movie - new low for Kurt Russel..... Another one to avoid is "Diablo", starring Clint Eastwood's son Scott Eastwood ; third rate movie with a really dumb plot. Wish I could get all that time back from both of those movies..

I can't say Bone Tomahawk is a bad movie.
It had everybody in the room pretty riveted. But when it goes nuts, holy schit does it go nuts. Then you spend the rest of the movie hoping nothing like that happens again.

Yea, Right about the time they started playing "break the wishbone" with that guy to see who gets the tasty parts did it for me - YUCK....   I have no trouble saying it was a bad movie. I thought it was worse than bad.............YMMV.

A less than "B grade" movie. I watched it with my daughter (who selected it) and her boyfriend, though, which made it more tolerable. I'm the one it gave frickin' nightmares, not the "kids."

Not a terrible movie, but not good either. I'd give it an average rating, either on Horror or Western. The guns in it were good.
Diablo gets a 4 of 10. Just a bit below average. Had good guns in it too.
