Is anyone familiar with the short run of Weatherby/Norma ammo for the 270 and '06?

I ran a cross some at a small gun shop 8 or so years ago and bought 10 boxes of 270 Win at $10.99 a box and the last time I was close I bought some at about 13.00 bucks. It is not target plinker stuff but is used for deer hunting in my old pre 64.

I once found an article and think it was pushing a 130 grain bullet around 3200 FPS or 270 WBY velocities.

It is flat shooting and sudden death on deer. I wish I had bought some 30-06 also. He sold all of it out.

Does anyone have the old write up on this? I sent an email to Weatherby and did not hear back.

It performs like my 270 WBY, I can see why they dropped it, they were giving their high performance to folks with non Weatherby rifles.
