Is there any way possible to change the BPS from the tang safety to the crossbolt design in the trigger group, like the 870 is?

I don't think it could be done. Even if it can it probably would not be cost effective. I would prefer the opposite. I'd rather have tang safteys on my shot guns that have the cross bolts.

I convert 870s to top tang... reversing it with the BPS would not work without making a triggerguard.
I much prefer top tang safeties. I have several BPS12s and like almost everything about them a lot.

I like the magazine cut-off in the BPS enough to prefer it to the 37.

I hate it that they quit making the magazine cutoff in the BPS. That is one useful gadget IMO. In fact, I traded off a BPS sans cutoff for an older one, just to get it.

BPS fits me better than any pump I've used, but they sure are pigs.

Good for a duck blind but not much else would I use it for. Which is a shame, because I really like them.

A trim little BPS 20 gauge that weighed about 6 lbs or close to it would be a sweetheart to pack around. Heck their Upland Special 12 gauge with a stubby 22" barrel comes in at 7.5 lbs. Thats not "Special."

Other than that, How was the show Mrs. Lincoln?

It's not broke,...except for the bottom feeding/ejecting.
I'd lay down on the couch, take a couple Tylenol, wait for the urge to change the gun to go away.
