I have conidered this the ultimate 30 mag, ever since the 375 Ruger was introduced. It should offer identical performance to the 300 Wea in a 30-06 length action.
I saw this cartridge mentioned in an Outdoor Life article as being chambered by Montana Rifles.
Has anyone heard anything else?

Talk on the AR forum of 338-375, 30-375 and even 6.5-375 all based on the 375 Ruger case.
Nothing like a Remington 700xcr.

I figure it's pretty much the reincarnation of the old 30 Newton. If my figuring is right that would make it over 100 years old by now.... Or close anyway. What goes round, comes round.
The 280 Remington is overbore.
The 7 Rem Mag is over bore.
