Though I had to laugh, "high end optics" and then they showed a leupold scope...

Its tons of fun.
If you have ever been to the arcade.
This is the big boy version.
Theres leupolds on the line for sure.
And just about every scope made.
Nightforce seems to be very popular.

I've spent some time in Ridgway. In fact I was just there in November. Back in the day, I'd known the guy who owned the Bogert. I actually stayed there while hunting when I was 12.

The Bogert House has been there forever.
Im not sure if its still open anymore.
Penske restaurant is closed.
And thats sad...
They have a excellent 1000 yard rifle range..

Somewhere I have a pic of 2 bears walking just behind the rams line during a match.

Ridgeway is a nice place to shoot.

Running 10 crows at 850 is a great feeling.
Running 10 of anything on that range is good jewjew.
The record set 2 years ago is 37 out of 40 targets.
My personal best is 34 shot at the same time the guy got the 37.
I've only been over 30 a handful of times since then....
Last season a fox showed up during a match..
He did not make it.
