I just put a 21" barrel on my M1 benelli Monday. It's wonderful. I can carry it on a sling upside down without worrying about the barrel hitting the ground and getting stopped up with soil when I have to squat or bend down to go under low limbs. Very handy indeed.

Humdinger: Personally I would pattern your O/U. Took my bird at 16 paces yesterday with only 4 #6's! Basically I got missed his moving head but got lucky with my XFull single bbl pump whose sweet spot is out at 28 -30 paces. One of my goals is to set up a older JPSauer for turkeys. One BBL full and one Modified ( for those 16-20 pace shots)!

The over under idea has merit probably running a extra full and mod because I had birds hang up at 40 yards this year. I took one about 15 yards and I could see whiffing it.
Other than that, How was the show Mrs. Lincoln?

I wish they made a 21" for the SBE II, because I'd put one on. Shortest available is 24" but at $500+ not sure it's worth it. The longer barrel (28") and 3 1/2" receiver are ok in the swamp for ducks but "woods" guns with shorter barrels are pretty handy.
