That was me with the 30 Rem carbine. I had a great time at the Tonto Basin get-together.
I am keeping Armijo Springs in mind as a possibility. I would sure like to make it if the stars will align for it to work out. It will be a fine group of folks, for sure. sending you a private messasge by the way i got my rifle back. the fellow just had too much going on in his life to make rem30 brass out of 30.30 brass for me. Ron, Buffalo Arms did have a new shipment of 30 Remington brass and some ammo . I I dunno if they still have any in stock mightcheck their website. Bob

I'm not bringing my green horn buddy from inner city St Louis or my ammo bag this year either! Hey, Jon! Last we heard, you didn't even have an ammo bag anymore!  Did you do the elk hunt and how did that work out? Bring the family. If my wife and daughter (age 7 now) are back from Japan, I plan to include them. I got a new one  The elk hunt went ok. I choked (see buck fever) on a bugeling bull opening morning and then wounded a cow on day 7. Im pretty sure I put the arrow into no mans land above the lungs and below the spine.

I think have a picture of Miles at Ed's place in Gilmer. I think he fried up about 273 lbs of bacon. It was great stuff.

I'm marking my calendar. Hope to be able to make it work. This is very good - hope you can bring the sons. That's what we are trying to figure out. Son #1 has the Rocky Mountain Leadership Camp at CSU-Pueblo that week and is done about noon Friday. The following week, they both have a barbershop camp in Estes Park and then #1 is off immediately from there to Ontario to compete in the 2016 North American Envirothon (Forestry, wildlife, aquatics and soils). We might have to pack light if his Mom let's him be gone for three weeks straight..
