You reload?
I got out bid on one just recently and in mean time was looking at loads.
Some guys are pushing 250s at 2700 with RL 15
I don't think you can go wrong with either choice. Probably come down to accuracy longer range.

All of them do something better than the 30-06, but none of them do everything as well.

H4895 pushes the 225s a little faster than RL15. I'm now shooting the 200TTSX our of my custom 35 Whelen.

I like 2 holes so would likely tend to the X, but you might ask your guide if he has a preference. Thinking of herded animals and pass through etc.

I would go with whichever one shoots best from your rifle. They will both kill any plains game that you will encounter. Shot placement is much more critical.

I used 210 gr TTSX in my 338 Win Mag with 100% success on more than 20 plains game critters, up to, and including, eland.

I used both the older Barnes 250X and 200X in my 35 Whelen Ackley Improved ( 2600 and 2970fps respectively) on two different trips. Both gave identical results. These velocities are typical with what one can get, or close to, with a 24" standard Whelen BT. Love those Barnes!
