Rost would you be willing to tune a RRA trigger for me if needed? I could flip the Timney in a heartbeat. I've never tried a 2 stage trigger. That's why I wanted the geissele trigger Unfortunately I can't unless we face to face, I'd have to do it with your lower due to tolerances. and I'm not an FFL.... PM me if you really want to try, the first thing is get one and put it in and tell me what you think....
We can keep Larry Root and all his idiotic blabber and user names on here, but we can't get Ralph back..... Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over....

A two stage trigger is just a fancy name for a trigger with creep. At least to me but each there own. I"m thinking you need to learn a few things. You might be in over your head if thats what you think about 2 stage triggers. How many ARs have you had? How many 2 stage triggers? Ever shoot competition matches? Ever have an AR trigger with ZERO creep in the trigger period? I"m 99% sure your timney has creep. How long have you been shooting the AR? How well do you shoot yours? How accurate is yours? I have not owned an with a 2 stage trigger simply because I don't care for them but that's my choice. I have 6 AR's at the current time and they all have TIMNEY triggers in them and have great trigger pull. I have been shooting AR's for a long time and yes they are accurate if not they are gone. No I do not shoot matches but that doesn't make a guy a great shot but I can definitely hold my own on a tight groups. Just because every Tom Dick and Harry use something doesn't make it great.

I am thinking that most every Tom, Dick and Harry who actually use these guns for a living use 2 stage triggers in them even their marksman rifles. You should try a Geissele NM.
Of course this is the internet where what we do best is make claims and adulterate reality.

if its a hunting gun just find a RRA Varmint trigger, it is fine for this purpose. If its "home defense" a G2S is good, I have a few of the SSA-E triggers, they are fine as well but in a Colt or DD "home defense" gun the G2S is good.

I'm slow, but I'm starting to learn at my old age. If I'd have put timneys in our rifles we could have really won big time in competition.
I kinda regret that fact now.

Just think I'm learning that if I would have used a 2 stage it makes you a top shot.
Use what works for you...
