I am developing some loads for my 35 Whelen. It does very well with 225 Sierra and NorthFork Bullets. I want to try 225 Swift AF, 225 TSX, and 200 TTSX.

Will anyone sell 10-15 of each type? I am getting tired of buying 50 and discovering they don't work. My rifle does not like either Nosler product.

Please send a PM if you can help me. Thanks.

My experience is with 250 grain bullets. Noslers (PT), Speers (so) and Hornadys (sp) with H4895 < 1 MOA.

Does your rifle have a custom cut chamber?

I prefer classic.

Shoots Sierra's and NF into .5's.
Both Noslers go +1.25.

My Whelen loves the 200 TTSX seated to a COAL of 3.275". This is a good 0.10" to 0.12" off the lands IIRC (don't have my notes in front of me).

And it took me a box of 50 to figure that one out. wink

Rin,

I can send you the 225 TSX's (my go to 35 Whelen bullet performing well on elk and moose in BC) and the 200 gr TTSX (performing well out of the 358 Win in Africa with a truckload + of game).

My 35 Whelen didn't shoot any reloads well until I started using RL-15.

I was using Nosler 225 Ballistic Tips back then. 220 Speers weren't too bad either if I remember correctly.
