You folks who think that Latisha Burgerflipper needs $15.00/hr. Why don't we also pay "The tip of the Spear" at least that? We have PFC/lance Coolly (E-3) walking point in "Indian Country" for a wage that qualifies him for food stamps. I know that this is a wee off topic, but every time some one brings up the $15.00 wage, it rips me a new one.

I agree with that TOTALLY. The 15 min is total BS.

What we pay our troops is total BS too.

Although a buddy bought a boat off a combat medic, that is headed back across and the medic told my buddy he'd make 160K in the next year.

That sounds awful high to me. I mean as in can't be correct.

Combat pay $225/ month, tax free

"Military members with dependents also receive Family Separation Allowance (FSA) of $250.00 per month, anytime they are away from their families (due to military orders) for 30 days or longer.

Finally, members in a combat zone are authorized to to deposit up to $10,000 (per year) of their pay and allowances into a special savings account, that pays a guaranteed 10 percent interest per year."

Still a long way from $150K
