That's a PURDY one. Funny, the older I get, my long guns are getting smaller in bore size and my hand guns getting bigger. Bout the only thing that fits my hand nowadays is a 45. Good luck, that is a nice one, Joe.

Thanks Joe. Just resting today so I thought I'd throw it out there. It's all fun and games.

Roy:

How about 2 bags of marbles, my NHL hockey card collection and a big box of "Double Bubble"?

I know my offer doesn't add up to the $ value of the Browning, but it does meet the qualifications of "interesting"

I'll top 99guy's offer with the addition of a couple Snicker Bars. Really, that's a very nice Hi Power you have and if I had some extra cash in my pocket I'd be all over it like ugly on an ape! Maybe you should post a shopping list of wants for trade to, if not for anything else, keep us wisenheimers at bay.

PS - back in "the day" the slick setup for Hi Powers had Smith & Wesson revolver sights set into the slide.

You know, I don't want anything. I have more than enough, more than I need, more than I can shoot, more than fit in the safe... maybe I would jump on something if I saw it. I like custom 99's. Am trying to put together a 6.5-.284. Am still waiting on the 22-250 to get screwed together. Gunsmiths suck.

I'm open to whatever.

Wow, it takes a big man to say I don't want or need anything more. Impressive.

You said something interesting? How about a 130 CC Homelite 7-29, gear drive, circa 1956. I'll even through in the bench, Joe.

Don't get me wrong, I love my Savages. Once the 22-250 is done I won't have need for anything but a 99 to hunt with. But as you all know, material things only go so far. Sometimes less = more.

Joe, I work physically for a living, nothing about a 125 lb chainsaw appeals to me. smile But it's cool in a sick kind of way. How about soft nice soft blankies and big fluffy pillows? Now that sounds good! grin

Ahh, that's OK. I actually sold that one a year or so ago. I paid $60 for it at a farm auction and posted a picture of it on a chainsaw site. A guy in Australia offered me $800 plus shipping for it, so it now lives down under. It cost him $474 dollars to ship it, Joe.

I wish I had something in trade. I read the book Serpico when I was a kid and he carried a Browning High Power, if I remember right, and have thought they were cool ever since.

You know, I can't faltered Glocks for what they are; but I'd still rather have a Hi Power. Anyone ever shoot a .40 Hi Power? I always wondered how the compared to the 9mm.
