This spring asparagus has always been a side dish until this evening. Cream of asparagus on toast...love it!

I'd say so, Mike. I remember after my dad started our family business in the early seventies that on SOS night we could pretty much eat until we exploded. Don't get me wrong, my parents always provided and I never went to bed hungry a day in my life, but I used to love SOS night! It was even better when we had fresh peas from the garden! Hell, when I come home in the fall or winter and Lori tells me that's what's for dinner I'm like a kid in a candy store! Mike

The missus told me this morning that the next picking of asparagus is going into a quiche. "Real men don't eat quiche."

Looks good! And I love quiche. Easy egg pie with whatever you like thrown in!
With asparagus, I think I'd add some bacon and sliced potatoes.
