A beauty for sure, but not as big as it appears do to his full arm extension. That's an old trophy photo trick.

Wrong assessment. I saw it later on in the day. He's my neighbor as well and loves to rub my nose in it when he get's lucky in the woods.

none here. i've never found a hot spot but i've found a few patches. none have produced this year. might go out today and try one more time.

Speaking of big morels...... Kelly Young picked it along the railroad tracks south of Walnut, Iowa. The Iowa DNR says they've never recorded one this big.
