Has anyone tried the Winchester Varmint HV 22 WMR ammunition,it has a 30 grain V-Max loaded to 2250 fps.?
I am hoping that it will be a suitable replacement for my disappearing stash of Remington 33 grain green tip ammunition that my two Savage/Anschutz sporters (164M & 54) shoot well.
Any feedback is appreciated.

My rifle shoots the Hornady 30gr. VMax load pretty well. I dunno how that would translate to the Winchester load. I've not seen any Winchester .22 Mag ammo in years.
I literally just got back from the local Academy Sports store, they had some Hornady 30gr loads and the new CCI ammo with a 35gr VMax for the Savage A22.
I bought the Hornady stuff.
You can roll a turd in peanuts, dip it in chocolate, and it still ain't no damn Baby Ruth.
