Picked up a new GMC 2500HD, Z-71, C.C., short box, 4.10 gears, 6.0 gasser with way too many bells and whistles on it.
1st tank of gas was yielding 13.2 mpg and ~ 120 miles of that was pulling my boat. We'll see how she does over time.
Really impressed with how quiet it is on the road and the ride is nice for the truck it is. I cranked up on the torsion bars to level it out and had the front end re-aligned.

She's jet black with the 20" chrome wheels. I had the dupont finish coating put on the inside and the outside. ~ 350$ worth. Also came with the Rhino bed liner done. Really like that step in the rear bumper.

jet black is nice. If you live in town. And never leave pavement. And like to wash it. And like hot metal.

I thought my 05 2500HD/6.0 with 4.10/86000 (damn near worn out) was a good color. But, color doesn't matter after you hit the mud/slurry up on the Yankee Fork.

My pickup is black, actually it's more of a brown bottom half with a black roof. My wife's Explorer is black and I'll admit to occasionally washing it but washing pickups is way overrated....

Sam's right. Real farmers and ranchers don't give a chit if their truck is clean or not. And I just bought a new black one a couple of weeks ago. It's brown now

Mine is currently a polka dot finish on the drivers side.
Hail took the mud right off!
