I love watching pointing dog's. Used to trial myself, but can't afford a horse anymore and getting to old for walking trials. Actually not to old but the good times of my youth are coming back to haunt me. So the past several years I've been going to close trials and getting shot's at the break away. The dog's are pumped up when they take off but after a bit of time settle down more. One of the thing's I noticed when I started doing this is the often dog's may only one foot on the ground, can't see that till the camera stop's that precise moment.













Got to looking for shot's to put into a calendar I had made and realized I have a lot of these photo's.
