I could be happy with such a country as long as we can carry handguns for hunting smile

We do need a reform of our system and our process of electing MPs, etc, but, vile treachery is NOT the way.

To get this done, NO MORE immigration, especially from Asia, Africa and South America, etc. Then, NO "multiculturalism" or "bilingualism" and preferably repatriation of all "non-traditional" immigrants ASAP.

Traitors, "kill 'em all, let God sort 'em out".

It's not just our country our yours, it's western civilization as we here were blessed to know it that is under assault with Western Europe on the cusp of already being irretrievable.

We, here, have arguably much more in common with each other than with our countrymen who are of the leftist, humanist world view persuasion and subscribe to all of this, or who are hopelessly ignorant of the water coming to a boil. Our lifestyles are being attacked from above by cultural hegemony, a nice game the Marxists call forcing the masses to accept what they say, do, and see it as normal. Forget your rugged individualism and personal freedoms, and Christian values; or if not a Christian, at least sympathy to them. Those types of people -us- are archaic.

Postmodernism-no real truth; theirs (Islamic culture for example) is as good as ours-ties in with multiculturalism where we are all having to raise the threshold of tolerance to what is unacceptable behavior for us; in other words, we have to tolerate what our forefathers would have been aghast at and rightly and quickly "fixed". Postmodernism in its broad implications also minimizes the significance of the individual, finding meaning in groups with commonalities based on how they feel; i.e., the LGBT movement.

This world view whose seeds have been planted long ago and whose manifestations were first in the League of Nations following WW l and then the United Nations after WW ll seek to begin consolidating power and economies and government on a world-wise basis. The UN here is complicit with Obama in the mass illegal immigration; presumably your leadership is doing the same. This is multi-faceted: developing a mega leftist voting block of ignorant masses (mostly); wealth redistribution; a leveling of First World countries and raising (theoretically) Third World ones. Though the first part will happen as we are taxed like rented mules the second part happen will never occur.

Assimilation of immigrants (I.e., Muslims) is not even desired. Civilization Jihad is quietly taking place under our very noses by the enablement of liberal governments (ours anyway) while at the same time there are radical terror cells now in every state "down here" planning murder and mayhem one can only presume.

Eduducation here has been co-opted by our federal government (your provincial ones?) and is now indoctrination in nihilism, hedonism, and atheism and has been for some time.

Believe me, we are in this thing together though in parrallel and though I hate to say it, the trajectory for changing of our way of life is not a promising one.

Don't worry, Canada is FAR outpacing us.

"The Government of Canada resettled 25,000 Syrian refugees between November 2015 and February 29, 2016. This included government-supported and privately sponsored refugees."

27,190 since November 2015 in Canada.
Well we can look forward to many attacks like now

We can look forward to similar attacks now happening in France in the future for sure.

My opinion of course..

This mirrors my opinion fairly closely. I would be all for accepting like minded people from the east to move west and hope at least the radical leftists move out to the east.

Somehow we need to get decent people back into the media, education system and the government bureaucracy (and a big reduction of it too).

I realize this will probably never happen but one can hope and work towards that.

It wouldn't work. I too have fantasized about splitting the U.S. down the middle with conservatives and a conservative government on one side and liberals and a liberal government on the other. It would be a very short time until the liberals looked at how well the conservatives were doing, then, moved there and immediately started to implement liberalism thus destroying the conservative system. Don't believe me? Look at U.S. history.

The biggest roadblock to succession would be the First Nations. From the small contact I've had with them, they seem to be pretty happy with JT. They wield a lot of clout in Canada, it seems.

Too bad the conservatives were so arrogant and wouldn't listen to the people when they went too far with stupid policies. IF your not happy with the current political climate that is where the criticism should land, directly in Harpers lap. Quit blaming the Liberals for being winners, Harper made it easy.

Harper was a good PM and far better than Trudeau has been. Please continue to spout the same lies that the liberal media tells you to. They have an agenda to carry out from the elites far above them and anyone who doesn't believe must be stopped.

As much as I liked what Harper was doing he obviously didn't relate well to the general public. Very autocratic. If he could have shown the side of himself that came out privately he would have fared much better.

I could be wrong but I don't seem to remember the US ever trying to take western Canada at least not since it was actually the US. Maybe I missed that lesson in history class.

Where you from SNAP? I assume somewhere in Canada.

I would like to know this also SNAP. Do you have any written history on the U.S. trying to take western Canada and "getting their asses handed to them every time?"

Or are you the guy that my Canadian BIL introduced me to in Sprague that tried to tell me and his buddies that if you live in the U.S. and have enough money in your checking account, you don't need car insurance?

Most of us don't pay much attention to Snap (when it comes to politics) or Canuckshooter. Anyone with half a brain knows we would be in very tough against the Americans just on numbers alone. Hope it never comes to that.......

The vast majority of Canadians realize we need to stand shoulder to shoulder with our American neighbours for the safety and security of both countries' borders. Doesn't mean we have to follow them all over the world trying to save every middle east and southeast Asian country from themselves though.
