Ditto. I have an old Stith brochure that shows rear mounts like this installed on a Winchester 54 and 1903 Springfield sporter. The brochure indicates the mount is for installations where the scope needs to be placed ahead of the bolt handle.

1899sav, I see you have some photo's with Model 20 stocks that look like they were duplicated from original. I just recently acquired one of these and the stock isn't original and/or has had some work done to it. Any chance you could hook me up with a pattern or be willing to sell one of your blanks?
