It seems like almost every day there is a cop involved shooting around here (Denver metro). And a lot of shootings among the underclass right now. Also there seem to be a lot of cops being taken down, on things like a traffic stop.
Other places seem the same? Slow justice and a lack of human decency in general seems to play into it IMO.

Aurora's PD's been blasting the heck out of them, and from what I can tell, every one of the them needed a killin.

kennyd,
Seems like at least one a day in the Columbus Metro area, sometimes more than one.
We lost a cop about 2 weeks ago. I don't really keep track of the numbers, but it is ridiculous.

Denver's become a dump, when ever Democrats , Blacks and illegals congregate , the surrounding area turns to $hit.
Add to that a population with a joint in one hand and a beer in the other ... and you get Denver 2016 . Kid that worked for me last winter got shot and killed in Aurora last night. Five blocks from my Grandsons elementary school. Used to be a pretty nice place.

So far this year we've actually lost 19 officers to firearms related deaths. We are about half way through the year, so lets round up to 40 a year.
1.2 million officers in the U.S.
40/1,200,000 = .0033% annual rate. In reality, this is a very low rate, but every single one gets covered in the national 24 hour media, which makes it seem much worse then it really is.

And now the hoods that can't find enough guns to steal are stabbing people. Even here.
The Mayans had it right. If youre going to predict the future, its best to aim far beyond your life expectancy, lest you wind up red-faced in a bunker overstocked with Spam and ammo.

As for all the shootings. The anti cop violance is being spurred on by the black supremacist movment with our media fanning the flames.
This was how Rome eventualy fell. The invasion of hordes of barbwarians coupled with self-serving politicians that sat around and did not do anything to stop it.
My brother in law is here visiting from California and he says that they just past a law that will free many convicts early, turn crimes that we're felonies into minor offences and not charge people if they get caught stealing less than $950 worth of stuff. I guess they are trying to make more room in the prisons for us gun owners since they are close to passing more gun prohibition laws there. I wonder if the cops there even make an effort any more. If they do do something they run the risk of being accused of being a racist and can loose their job or even end up in jail.
I think eventually the bottom will fall out of this country and we will have anarchy. I would love to be proven wrong but history says different.
